Dr Kim Akerman
Kim Akerman, Adjunct Professor of Archaeology at The Unversity of Western Australia, is an anthropologist with wide experience in the Kimberley. He is a member of the Advisory Board for Centre for Rock Art Research and Management and an honorary curator in indigenous studies at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery. He has consulted widely to indigenous and other organisations. Kim was a member of the research advisory committee of the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Straits Islander Studies from 1996 to 2007, and has performed many curatorial and advisory roles. He is a prolific author.
