Dr Ian Abbott is an ecologist and Senior Principal Research Scientist, Science Division, Department of Conservation and Environment. Has wide field experience and expertise in biogeography and historical ecology, as well as trees, birds and invertebrates. Since his first publication in 1970 he has published more than 200 papers.
Kevin Bentley is an experienced and dedicated Proofreader with the Project.
Dr Marion Hercock wrote The Introduction for Western Australian Exploration 1826-1835. She is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and an adjunct research fellow with the School of Earth and Geographical Sciences at the University of Western Australia where she has also lectured in geography. Publications include works on resource use and environmental management in Western Australia; and geographical and scientific thought. She previously ran Explorer Tours, an educational tour company that specialised in following original exploration routes.
Jeff Murray is a cartographic draftsman with over 40 years of experience in mapping, photogrammetry, surveying and nomenclature. He is a researcher of history specialising in retracing Western Australian stock routes and exploration. Extensively travelled, he has detailed knowledge of Western Australia’s environment and geography.
Angela Teague is a typist with the Western Australian Explorers’ Diaries Project.
